I just started taking Yaz later month. Today, I took the 4th pill in my second pack. I concluded up having unprotected sex today, but he didn't finish inside of me. Is nearby any chance of pregnancy? I started taking it to regulate my time of year, so the first time I took it wasn't on the first day of my interval, like it's supposed to be. Would that hold any effect, either? if you start taking the pill surrounded by the first five days of your cycle (the first day of your spell is day one), you are protected IMMEDIATELY.
If you start at any other point contained by your cycle, you are protected after SEVEN DAYS of active pills. There is no requirement to wait a month, a cycle, two months, etc., etc. You are protected after seven days of involved pills. According to Planned Parenthood:
"If you start the combination pill within five days after the start of your time, take the first influential pill of the first pack. You will not need to use a subsidise up method of birth control. You are protected against pregnancy immediately.
If you start the combination pill at any other time during your menstrual cycle, thieve the first active pill of the first pack. Use another method of birth control if you enjoy vaginal intercourse during the first week of combination pill use — protection will begin after seven days."
It is really frustrating to me that relations keep posting that the pill take months to become effective! It doesn't! Read the pill insert and the links I provided!
Generally they speak 1-3 months, but even under full protection, it's still possible to obtain pregnant. It's probably unlikely however in your scenario. However, hang about to see if you miss your period and next test if you do.
