How long will my term final?

I haven't had a extent since october but i got one 3 days ago and i started birth control roughly a week in a partially ago but i didnt take it right..i skipped alot of days.do you believe my period will be short or long? I necessitate to shorten it because my boyfriends taking me on a trip this weekend for my birthday...and we havent had sex sex within a while? What should i do? There is no way of describing how long your period will be...everyone is different. You can't really shorten it any. Sometimes doctors will prescribe a medication (norethisterone) to delay a time of year for special occasions but that wants to be started before you start your length. Hopefully you will find it stops soon anyway. Many women have period that are only 3-4 days long.
